Women and children escaping abuse often feel scared and hopeless. For too long, they’ve felt abandoned and all alone.

But friends like you help them see they have people who are praying for them and care about them!

One Night One Hope Led Sheri to a New Life

Sheri was lost in her addiction to alcohol. She had tried to stop on her own, but she relapsed. It drove her into a deep depression that she couldn’t see a way out of.

She thought it was hopeless. But then her mom told her about Shepherd’s Gate, and Sheri experienced a miracle.

Sheri’s phone had been turned off and she didn’t have service. But she dialed the number anyway, praying that somehow the call would go through. And then someone answered.

Sheri felt hope for the first time that God was there with her and that things could change.

Sheri and her son came to Shepherd’s Gate and experienced One Night One Hope.

Because of friends like you, they had safe shelter and access to Christ-centered care. She graduated this past summer from the program, and now she and her son are beginning a new life!
